Model J-5

Many users synchronize the vise jaw movement  with operation of  machine tools. This can be achieved with any three-way valve; either manual hand or foot valve, or an electric valve triggered by “M” code in CNC Machine. These vises are regularly supplied with #2 Brown & Sharpe jaw hole spacing, and soft jaw faces. The Model J-5 provides a gripping force of 25 times line pressure. Airlox^TM vises—with their quick positive action and high reliability—are very well suited for todays unattended operation of  “pick and place” robots.

Model J-10

The Model J-10 Hold-down vise grips the work and forces it positively against the vise bed or parallels, eliminating any necessity of tapping the work down with a hammer. This is done in one instantaneous operation. The operator simply places the work piece on the vise bed or parallels and closes the air valve. The vise does the rest. Many users synchronize the vise jaw movement with operation of machine tools. This can be achieved with any three-way valve; either manual hand or foot valve, or an electric valve triggered by “M” code in CNC Machine. A Schrader speed control valve is recommended for use with this Airlox^TM Hold-down vise to reduce the impact. Airlox^TM vises—with their quick positive action and high reliability—are very well suited for todays unattended operation of “pick and place” robots.

Model M-3

The Airlox^TM M-3 is a precision built, light production tool, operated by a special air cylinder.  Remarkable air economy is obtained by limiting the maximum air travel to one inch.  An easily accessible adjustment screw enables the operator to set the maximum jaw opening of two inches. Many users synchronize the vise jaw movement with operation of machine tools. This can be achieved with any three-way valve; either manual hand or foot valve, or an electric valve triggered by “M” code in CNC Machine. The vise is regularly supplied with #0 Brown & Sharpe jaw hole spacing and soft jaw faces.  It can also be supplied with undrilled jaw castings for fitting to other jig faces. The Model M-3 provides a gripping force of 5 times line pressure. Airlox^TM vises—with their quick positive action and high reliability—are very well suited for todays unattended operation of  “pick and place” robots.

Model  X

The Model X is our smallest vise, excellent for prototype and tool room uses as well as some small machine applications.  We have designed and priced this vise to demonstrate the quality and economy of our complete line of products. Model 62-D
